We accept applications throughout the year, but awardees are chosen in December for the following year.
Process
We currently still prefer paper applications. Our simple 1-page application hasn’t changed much since Grandmother created it.
Feel free to include extra pages as needed.
We collect applications throughout the year. Decisions are made in late December, with award letters mailed in January.
Requirements
Nominees are chosen for their impact on their community, making extra efforts to make their neighborhood a better place to live.
Demonstrated Need is preferred but not necessary.
Awards
Our awards are typically made monthly for one year.
Awardees are eligible for renomination for 3 years.
